Who we are

FounderOS is a Chrome extension developed by Zivor Global, based in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. This Privacy Policy covers the FounderOS Chrome extension and its associated website at zivorglobal.com.

What data we collect

We collect almost nothing. Here's the exact list:

• Your chosen display name (e.g. "Founder") — stored locally only
• Tasks, goals, focus sessions, and reflection entries — stored locally only
• Dashboard layout preferences — stored locally only
• Revenue targets you set — stored locally only
• If you subscribe to our newsletter on this website, the email address you provide

None of your in-extension productivity data is transmitted to our servers. We have no backend database storing tasks, goals, or focus sessions.

What we do NOT collect

• Your browsing history or visited URLs
• Cookies or tracking identifiers
• Your email address inside the extension (no account required)
• Payment information (handled by payment providers directly)
• Personal identifiable information beyond your chosen display name
• Analytics data about how you use the extension (unless you connect Plausible)

Permissions we request and why

• newtab — Required to replace your new tab page with the FounderOS dashboard
• storage — Required to save your tasks, settings, and focus data locally on your device
• alarms — Required for the Pomodoro timer to fire notifications when your focus block ends

We do not request access to your tabs, browsing history, bookmarks, or any other sensitive Chrome permissions.

Third-party integrations

If you choose to connect optional integrations (Stripe, Plausible, PostHog), your credentials are used only to make direct API calls from your browser to those services. Your API keys are stored locally in Chrome storage. We never receive or log your third-party credentials on our servers.

Each integration is governed by the respective service's own privacy policy (Stripe, Plausible, PostHog, etc.).

Newsletter subscriptions

If you subscribe via the form on this website, your email address is sent to our mailing list provider so we can send you product updates and Pro launch announcements. We don't sell or share this address with third parties for advertising. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly.

Data storage and retention

All FounderOS extension data is stored using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API, which means it lives on your device and in Chrome's sync (if you have Chrome Sync enabled). Uninstalling the extension permanently deletes all stored data.

Children's privacy

FounderOS is designed for founders and entrepreneurs. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from users under 13 years of age.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as we add features (particularly when Pro analytics integrations ship). We'll update the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, post a notice in the extension itself.

Your rights

Since we store no extension data on our servers, there's nothing to delete from our side for that data. To clear your FounderOS extension data, simply uninstall the extension from Chrome.
